US Blu-ray New Release Round-up – October/November 2017

There have been quite a few movies released on Blu-ray over the last couple of weeks in America, here’s our new release round-up for October and November 2017 just in case you missed any.

New Release Round-up – October 2017

October got off to a great start with Arrow Video releasing a special edition Blu-ray of Stephen King’s Children Of The Corn (1984).  Sticking with Arrow and they also released the Italian giallo film, Don’t Torture A Duckling (1972) directed by Lucio Fulci.

Speaking of Stephen King films, Sony Pictures put out The Dark Tower (2017) starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.

October is of course horror month and there were a few films of note that came out, including Annabelle: Creation (2017), Cult of Chucky (2017) & Chucky: Complete 7-Movie Collection.

Warner Bros continued to release a few older classic titles such as the Edward G. Robinson films The Sea Wolf (1941) & Hell on Frisco Bay (1955).  Meanwhile Kino Classics put out films such as Kill Baby Kill (1966) & Portrait of Jennie (1948).

New Release Round-up – November 2017

Moving on to this week’s new releases sees The Philadelphia Story (1940) starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart. Now there’s a pretty good cast. This week also sees the Jeff Goldblum & Michelle Pfeiffer movie Into The Night (1985).

Other noteworthy releases include Cars 3 (2017), The Limehouse Golem (2017) & another release of the Godfather. Finally there is a collection of 30 DC Universe films known as the 10th Anniversary collection however that will set you back around $300.

Television Series

If TV is more your thing then you may be interested in The Walking Dead Season 7 and Westworld: The Complete First Season that are available now to purchase.
