Dario Argento Themed January 2018 Arrow Video Blu-ray Line-up

There seems to be a bit of a Dario Argento themed Blu-ray line-up from Arrow Video this coming January 2018 with two films slated for release.  The highlight has to be Arrow’s new restoration of Dario Argento’s The Cat O’ Nine Tails (1971) a horror/thriller or giallo film. This is another limited edition so if you miss out you will need to wait for Arrow to hopefully issue a standard version in the future.  It’s set for a 29th January 2018 release in the UK whilst also being available in the US & Canada.

Not content with just one Dario Argento film Arrow Video also have the standard version of the excellent Phenomena (1985) horror giallo film starring Jennifer Connelly and Donald Pleasence.  The limited edition came out earlier in the year and has sold out from all retailers leaving only third party sellers with any copies.  So its great news for those of us that missed out as we can at least purchase the same disc content with the standard version which releases on the 15th January 2018 in UK.

One other UK release in January is the Australian psychological horror Hounds Of Love (2016) starring Emma Booth.  This one can be purchased from 29th January 2018.

Two remaining titles to reveal and these are both out in the US & Canada.  First up is Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes (1977) out on the 30th January while the Re-Animator (1985) lands sometime in January/February.
