Most children die before their tenth birthday. With no cure it’s an agonising time for the family. However John discovers a researcher, Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford) that is working on a cure and contacts him. He has an innovative potential treatment involving an enzyme but doesn’t have the budget to develop it further. What are John and his family prepared to do to see that theory is turned into a viable treatment?

Conclusion – Extraordinary Measures Film Review
With Extraordinary Measures what you see is very much what gets but then it is based on a true story. Its story that’s both emotionally charged and heart-warming. The outcome is the one you expect and some people will simply love this kind of film.
For me whilst the story is a powerful one it’s also one of those films I’d probably only watch when there’s nothing else on.
