American Blu-ray Releases March 2018 Round-Up

It’s time to take a look at all of the main new Blu-ray releases that came out in March 2018 from both film and television. So let’s get started with our round-up of the new American Blu-ray Releases March 2018.

American Blu-ray Releases March 2018

March has seen plenty of new releases, here are the highlights just in case you happened to miss any of them. There’s a good mix between new movies such as Justice League (2017) and older titles like A Fistful of Dynamite aka Duck, You Sucker (1971) from director Sergio Leone.

If you are yet to make the leap from DVD to Bluray now is a great time with decent Blu-ray players costing around $70-$100. For those thinking of going 4K Blu-ray that’s a little but more expensive at around $200-$250.

Warner Bros

One of March’s biggest releases had to be Warner Bros Justice League (2017).


Acts Of Violence (2017) a Bruce Willis action movie came out on Blu-ray thanks to Lionsgate. Their other main releases included Children Of The Corn: Runaway (2018) and comedy drama Lady Bird (2017).

Universal Pictures

Highlights from Universal Pictures included The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017), Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), Wonder Wheel (2017) and I, Tonya.

Paramount Pictures

For fans of the Jane Fonda movie Barbarella (1968) there was the release of a steelbook edition, whilst the sci-fi comedy Downsizing (2017) starring Matt Damon also came out.

Sony Pictures

There were two releases worth mentioning from Sony in March, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) which proved hugely popular at movie theaters across America and coming of age drama Call Me by Your Name (2017).

20th Century Fox

One main release of note from 20th Century Fox during March was the animated film Ferdinand (2017).

Arrow Video

Fans of George A. Romero were in for a treat with the release of The Crazies (1973).

Kino Classics

Sergio Leone’s western A Fistful of Dynamite aka Duck, You Sucker (1971) arrived on to Blu-ray as did the W.C. Fields movie It’s the Old Army Game (1926).

Shout! Factory

There were three offering worth mentioning from Shout! Factory, The Ambulance (1990), The ‘Burbs (1989) and The Strangers (2008).

Mill Creek Entertainment

Hammer horror fans were treated to another two volumes containing the following films, Maniac, Die! Die! My Darling!, ever Take Candy From a Stranger & Scream of Fear.

Other March 2018 Releases

One other film worth mentioning is Dario Argento’s Suspiria (1977) which received a two disc special edition from Synapse Films.

American Blu-ray Releases March 2018 – Television

Classic television series The Outer Limits 1963-64 Season 1 came to Blu-ray with hopefully more to follow.
