This week sees yet another new one film at the UK box office with sci-fi horror The Predator entering in top spot and in doing so displacing horror The Nun into second place. In total there are three new entries inside the top 10 films chart this week.

20th Century Fox’s The Predator took almost £2.4m from 553 cinemas in its first weekend but last week’s number one, The Nun managed £4m in its first weekend so maybe it’s underperformed a little. Speaking of that horror movie it had second week cinema revenue of £1.8m from 542 locations.
Two more new entries to mention, first up is the American box office hit Crazy Rich Asians which enters the UK film charts at number three taking £1.6m from 531 cinemas. Next is the Michael Caine led crime, drama King of Thieves which manages the number four slot and box office revenue of £1.5m from 494 locations which is pretty good.
Two films that say goodbye to the top ten are The Equalizer 2 & Searching.

It’s Time To Switch To Blu-ray
