Is anyone really ready for another Star Wars movie? Well ready or not Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is set to dominate cinemas this Christmas. There’s one other release the musical Cats but I think you may want to see the trailer before heading to the cinema for that one.

Final Thought – Cinema Releases 20 December 2019 – & Box Office
Anything with J.J. Abrams name attached to it tends to mean a poor to mediocre story and flashy special effects to cover it. Personally I hope Disney retire the Star Wars franchise until Hollywood can find some talented writers, producers and directors. I won’t hold my breath.
Looking at the Cats trailer sees another bizarre looking movie and clearly one not aim at me fortunately so I think I’ll pass on that one.
Meanwhile Jumanji: The Next Level impresses at the box office in both the UK & US taking £9m and $59.2m respectively. Maybe there will be a third film!
