For fans of Amy Schumer you may have a treat as her latest comedy hits UK cinemas this week. Maybe more interesting is the horror/thriller The Strangers: Prey At Night which also releases on Friday whilst fans of David Tennant may be interested to see him in thriller Bad Samaritan not playing a particularly nice guy, that one’s only out in the USA however.

Amy Schumer comedies simply aren’t for me and that’s fine some of you will no doubt love them but I will not be watching her latest film, I Feel Pretty. That leaves me with the horror / thriller, The Strangers: Prey At Night which looks kind of interesting and is my pick of the new UK releases.
If you are in the United States you can look forward to yet another remake, this time it’s Overboard. For those unaware the original film came out in 1987 and starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. It was an entertaining enough film but as with everything these days it’s easy to copy and remake than be original.
