Powerhouse Films are set to release the Columbia Noir #5: Humphrey Bogart Blu-ray Boxset under their Indicator label later this month in the UK.
The boxset includes the following 6 films:
- Dead Reckoning (1947)
- Knock on Any Door (1949)
- Tokyo Joe (1949)
- Sirocco (1951)
- The Family Secret (1951)
- The Harder They Fall (1956)
These are all from the film noir genre with five Humphrey Bogart films plus Henry Levin’s The Family Secret.
Columbia Noir #5: Humphrey Bogart Blu-ray
There’s a 4K restoration of The Harder They Fall (1956) whilst the rest are HD presentations.
Powerhouse blu-ray releases tend to have excellent picture quality so fingers crossed this one will be no different.
In any case I’ll be sure to give this release a close look.
