Whilst we mostly focus on Blu-ray releases on the site but there are quite a lot of people who still purchase DVDs. Add to that the fact that several titles still only ever receive a DVD release and there is clearly a need to keep track of all of those new releases.
It’s time to take a look at the DVDs out this week in the United Kingdom this week.
DVDs Out This Week – 13th November 2017
Sci-fi fans will now doubt have been eagerly awaiting series ten of Doctor Who, well wait no longer as it’s out on both Blu-ray and DVD this week. You may also wish to purchase two titles from Reeltime Pictures, The Doctors – The William Hartnell Years & The Daemons of Devil’s End.
Fans of Peter Kay’s Car Share can now pick up the second series or both series in a boxset on Blu-ray or DVD. Continuing on with the television series theme sees series eight of ITV’s Doc Brown starring Martin Clunes. There is plenty of comedy with three Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas DVD’s releases from Universal Pictures or maybe you prefer the new version of Porridge.
Switching to TV drama and the second series of ITV’s Victoria is out now or if you prefer the boxset of series one and two is also available.
Films – DVDs Out This Week
Finally on to films and Cars 3 along with a boxset containing all three movies is out this week. If you like Jennifer Aniston then the Office Christmas Party (2016) may be what you are looking for to help you get in the festive mood. All of these films are also available on Blu-ray.
