Hammer House of Horror The Complete Series releases on Blu-ray

There are several good Blu-ray releases out this week including the Hammer House of Horror: The Complete Series by Network.  Looking at this week’s film releases reveals a certain horror with Cult of Chucky (2017) along with the Chucky Complete 7-Movie Collection perfect viewing this Halloween.

If you are looking for yet more horror Arrow Video has a limited edition George Romero Between Night And Dawn boxset.  Elsewhere 88 films go with the slasher film House on Sorority Row (1983) and the Italian giallo Watch Me When i Kill (1977) out this week.  But there’s more as Sony releases Carnival of Souls (1962).

There are also two Agatha Christie films starring Peter Ustinov, Death On The Nile (1978) & Evil Under The Sun (1982) and one Miss Marple film starring Angela Lansbury The Mirror Crack’d (1980). They come courtesy of Studiocanal.

Tom Cruise’s The Mummy (2017) is another of this week’s big releases as is Death Becomes Her (1992) starring Goldie Hawn, Bruce Willis & Meryl Streep.

That’s a lot of good Blu-rays I’m sure you will agree.  Next I’ll quickly list the remaining titles out this Monday:

Dead Again In Tombstone (2017), Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 4: The Long Haul (2017), Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000), The Princess Bride (1987), The Wages of Fear (1953) and Wedding In White (1972).

Rounding this week’s long release list is the television series Vampire Diaries Season 8 or if you prefer you can now pick up seasons 1-8 in one boxset.  That’s the only TV series out this othan of course the Hammer House of Horror.

Personally I’m most looking forward to the Hammer House of Horror The Complete Series which has been fully restored.  That’s a heck of a lot of new releases and next week proves to be an even better week in terms of quality and numbers
