Here are the Indicator July 2018 Blu-ray releases which have recently been announced. This time around Powerhouse Films is continuing on with its Hammer boxsets as we reach volume 3. Other than that there is also the crime thriller Footsteps In The Fog (1955). So let’s take a look at the films contained in the Hammer boxset which is titled “Blood And Terror” and contains four films:
- The Camp On Blood Island (1958)
- Yesterday’s Enemy (1959)
- The Stranglers of Bombay (1959)
- The Terror of The Tongs (1961)
Starting off with The Camp On Blood Island (1958) this one’s a British World War II film set in a Japanese prisoner of war camp and is directed by Val Guest and features André Morrel. Yesterday’s Enemy (1959) is another war film again directed by Val Guest and stars Stanley Baker amongst others.
The Stranglers of Bombay (1959) is an adventure / horror directed by Hammer regular Terence Fisher and stars Guy Rolfe. Lastly The Terror of The Tongs (1961) is a film directed by Anthony Bushell and stars Hammer legend Christopher Lee.
As with the two previous Hammer boxsets we will be reviewing this latest offering.
The last of new titles is Footsteps in the Fog (1955) a British crime film starring Stewart Granger and Jean Simmons. What’s more all of these upcoming releases are High Definition Remasters which is what Powerhouse films aka Indicator have become known for releasing.
