Another of the Clint Eastwood directed films I’d missed out on is a thriller from 1997. It stars John Cusack and Kevin Spacey, but is it any good? Here’s my Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil blu-ray review.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

Plot

John Kelso (John Cusack), a magazine reporter is invited to cover Jim Williams (Kevin Spacey), an art collector, antiques dealer’s dinner. However later that night Williams is involved in an incident with his friend/lover Billy Hanson (Jude Law). Subsequently Jim is charged with Hanson’s murder.

John Kelso decides to stick around and do some digging. Will it help clear or convict Jim Williams?

Style / Direction

Directed by Clint Eastwood the cinematography is handled by Jack N. Green. It’s another well crafted piece of filmmaking that delivers a compelling storyline.

Music / Audio Effects

Lennie Niehaus provies the film’s score.
