New England circa 1630, when a farmer is cast out of his colonial plantation he is forced to move his family to a remote plot of land on the edge of a forest that is rumoured to be controlled by witches. Straight away strange things begin to happen, such as the animals turning violent, the crops failing , and most worrying of all one of the children disappears and then returns seemingly possessed by an evil spirit.
