The year is 1820 and the whaling ship Essex Captained by George Pollard, Jr. Their ship is sunk by whale ramming them. Now shipwrecked the crew must survive but at what cost!


Point Break (Action)

Remake of the 1991 film. An FBI agent goes undercover to find a gang who are carrying out a series of heists.


The Hateful Eight (Western)

  • Quentin Tarantino’s back with The Hateful Eight

John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) is taking fugitive Daisy “The Prisoner” Domergue to Red Rock to face the charge of murder. On the way they encounter a bounty hunter named Major Marquis “The Bounty Hunter” Warren (Samuel L Jackson) and Chris “The Sheriff” Mannix (Goggins).

When a blizzard forces them to take shelter they encounter another four strangers hence the hateful eight!

There are your movie releases this week, we would say the two films that may be of interest are Joy with Jennifer Lawrence and Tarantino The Hateful Eight looks like it may be a cult classic. 

Although the latter only has a limited release in the US so you may have to wait until next week to see it.
