The Oscars 2019 Winners List In Full

It’s that time of the year, award season a time when the most important people in the world (Actors, Directors, Film Studio Executives etc…) all gathered last night for the pointless awards aka the Academy Awards. For those of you other than those out of touch actors who actually care about whether A Star Is Born, Black Panther, Vice or BlacKkKlansman would win ‘Best Picture’ voted for by that very select and special group of people we don’t know, well you may be disappointed as none of those listed films won.

That honour went to the comedy-drama film Green Book. In any case its time to take a closer look at the winners and losers from last nights awards, here’s The Oscars 2019 winners list in full.

The Oscars 2019 Winners & Losers

The Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga film, A Star Is Born was up for eight awards last night but somehow only managed to come away with one.

A Star Is Born Nominated For:
  • Best Picture
  • Best Actress with Lady Gaga
  • Best Actor with Bradley Cooper
  • Best Supporting Actor with Sam Elliott
  • Best Adapted Screenplay
  • Best Original Song
  • Best Cinematography
  • Best Sound Mixing

Meanwhile Olivia Colman took the ‘Best Actress’ award for her performance in the The Favourite, whilst Rami Malek took ‘Best Actor’ for his role playing Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. Best Director was awarded to Alfonso Cuaron for Roma, which was shown on Netflix along with a limited cinema release. (I wonder how many people saw that one???)

Any way those are just the highlights or lowlights, here’s the Oscars 2019 winners list in full along with links to the respective film trailers and Blu-ray/DVD availability:
