Second Sight Films are set to release the Australian mystery drama film Picnic at Hanging Rock on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray this May 2023 in the UK.
Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) is a film by director Peter Weir. The film stars Rachel Roberts, Jacki Weaver, Dominic Guard, Helen Morse, Anne-Louise Lambert and Margaret Nelson.
Students and a teacher from an Australian girls’ school vanish without a trace following a summer picnic.
Second Sight are offering three versions to choose from, 4K UHD + Blu-ray Limited Edition, 4K UHD and Blu-ray.

The picture quality should be excellent as Second Sight say this release is “A new Second Sight 4K restoration from the original camera negative supervised and approved by Director Peter Weir and Director of Photography Russell Boyd.”
Second Sight has not provided information such as aspect ratio or audio for this release, I’ll update this page if and when I have the details.
