Studiocanal are bringing out a British comedy classic this month in the UK. The Galloping Major (1951) releases on both blu-ray and DVD under their “Vintage Classics” label.
Furthermore the film has undergone a brand new restoration so it should look fantastic!
The film stars a whole host of familiar names and faces including Sid James, Janette Scott, Charles Hawtrey, Basil Radford and Jimmy Hanley.
I’ve seen this film before on, in my opinion, the best TV channel in the UK, Talking Pictures TV. It’s the best places to find films like these on television.
