UK Top 10 Film Charts 9 November 2018: Is The Grinch on top?

It’s fair to say they have indeed been rocking over the last couple of weeks but this week they find themselves up against The Grinch. It’s Christmas!!! Well not quite but that certainly doesn’t seem to have deterred UK audiences from going to see it. So is there a new UK number one? Let’s answer that question; these are the UK top 10 film charts 9 November 2018.

Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody drops to number two managing an incredibly impressive £4.55m from 682 cinemas and gross to date revenue of £28.9m. That all means there is indeed a new number one film and you guessed it its The Grinch. It took £over £5m from 559 locations which is pretty good business for Universal Pictures the UK distributor.

Overload is another new entry at six taking a rather disappointing £677,844 having appeared in 421 cinemas. Lastly the Peter Jackson war documentary They Shall Not Grow Old released in time for Remembrance Sunday took £271,302 from 378 locations.
