The Oscars 2018 – Winners List In Full

The pointless awards aka The Oscars 2018 took place on Sunday night, a place where some the world’s most out of touch and self obsessed people came together to pat each other on the back and get all preachy on us.

However this time there was good reason for them to be upset judging by the many recent revelations.  That said judging by television audience many seem to have become tired of this Awards ceremony with the live broadcast on TV seen by the smallest audience of just 26.5 million down from 32.9 in 2017 as reported by the BBC.

The real problem with actual awards part is the fact they are always trying to be relevant rather than simply choosing the best films, actors or directors.  A quick Google search will highlight how many times truly great films, actors or directors were passed over only for the award to go to something instantly forgettable.

Anyway for those few who really want to know who won what we have The Oscars 2018 winners list in full.  Highlights included best picture going to The Shape of Water, best actor went to Gary Oldman for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour, whilst best actress saw Frances McDormand take the award for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
