Powerhouse Films under their Indicator label are releasing The Swimmer Limited Edition Blu-ray later this September in the UK. The release date slipped from 29th August 2022.
The Swimmer (1968) is a drama starring Burt Lancaster and is based on the John Cheever short story of the same name.
To be honest it’s not one of Burt’s best movies but if you wish to add it to your film collection it’s out soon.
The Swimmer Limited Edition Blu-ray
Powerhouse rarely seem to put out a bad blu-ray release these days and this film should be good too.
It’s the 2014 restoration from a 4K scan of the original negative that we’re getting with this release.
As you might expect there seems to be fair amount of extras included.
