It’s time for another Nicolas Cage movie this time it’s The Trust (2016). This one also stars Elijah Wood and is a bit of a black comedy. Should you consider picking it up on blu-ray? Let’s take a look, so without further ado here’s my The Trust blu-ray review.

Plot
Police Lieutenant Jim Stone works at the Evidence Management unit of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Whilst reviewing some case files he discovers the case of a low level drug dealer who was bailed for $200,000 by a cashier’s check. Jim believes this needs closer scutiny and enlists Sergeant David Waters (Elijah Wood) whom also works at evidence management unit.

The films directed by Alex Brewer / Ben Brewer whilst Sean Porter is responsible for the cinematography.
Music / Audio Effects
The music is provided by Reza Safinia.
Acting / Characters
Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood sounds like an odd pairing and you would be right. That said they work exceptionally well together in this black comedy crime thriller. Most of the film revolves around these two characters and it’s really is fascinating seeing the story and their relationship unfold.
Both actors produce fabulous performances ensuring there is never a dull moment.
