Plot
Siblings Roderick and Pamela Fitzgerald stumble across an abandoned house near a cliff top in Cornwall. They decide to purchase it and track down the owner, Commander Beech. He agrees to sell to them and they move in. However Commander Beech’s granddaughter is far from keen on the sale. In fact she is somewhat obsessed with the house and has a strong connection with it.
Soon after the Fitzgerald’s move in they begin to hear strange noises.

The music is provided by Victor Young.

The Uninvited is a well made easy going haunted house horror film that’s well worth a look. Ray Milland, Ruth Hussey and Gail Russell all make this a thoroughly enjoyable watch.
