Fast & Furious 8 shoots straight to the top spot with takings of £14,026,301. Last week’s number one film The Boss Baby took £3,619,765 which is still very impressive for its second week on the chart. However when both films first weeks are compared it’s clear just how Fast & Furious 8 has done. The Boss Baby week 1 takings £8,025,886 vs. Furious 8s £14,026,301.
Whether you love the Fast and Furious films or not there is no denying just how successful there are. I’m pretty sure the studio executives will already be planning on another release as soon as possible.
Elsewhere fellow new release The Sense of an Ending just about makes the UK Top 10 cinema films chart in tenth place taking a very disappointing £329,948.
