It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at what movies are hot at the UK cinema, these figures are for UK Box Office April 7 2017.

The Boss Baby takes top spot from Beauty and the Beast taking an impressive £8,025,886 against £2,759,448. Meanwhile Peppa Pig lands in third spot with takings of £1,050,962 but its not so good news for Caine, Freeman and Arkin as Going in Style enter the UK chart in sixth place taking £569,392. The Smurfs also look to be on the way out after just two weeks on the chart but with Easter around the corner I have feeling they might just stay around a while longer.
Don’t forget to check back every Thursday as we go through the week’s new cinema releases along with their film trailers.
One of the new cinema offerings this week is the comedy Fast & Furious 8, more on that on Thursday.
