This weeks see a battle between new entry War for the Planet of the Apes and last weeks number one Spider-Man: Homecoming. I think 20th Century Fox will be pretty happy with the new Planet of the Apes film’s takings of £7,195,773.
Other new entries at the UK cinema this week include animated adventure with Cars 3 and drama with The Beguiled (Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning)
