For a second week one film dominates UK cinemas, yes its director Christopher Nolan’s epic Second World War story Dunkirk.
It’s been another massive hit at UK cinemas over the weekend with second weekend box office takings of £8,235,532. Warner Bros should be happy with the UK cinema takings even if the US is lower than expected.
The reviews have been very positive and we at Popcorn Cinema Show highly recommend you go and see it.
Elsewhere Captain Underpants enters the chart at two taking a decent £2,495,744 but Girls Trip fails to impress UK audiences coming in at number seven taking £1,557,981.
It however did way better than fellow new comedy The Big Sick that barely makes the top ten with dismal takings of £488,718.
