Time now to catch up with the UK film charts, these box office figures have been delayed being published due to Christmas.  These are the figures for the UK cinema charts December 22 2017.

Four new entries on the chart for December 22nd including Sony Pictures’ Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which entered the chart in second place behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi taking a rather impressive £8,154,548.

Pitch Perfect 3 landed in third place with cinema takings of £4,334,525 which should please Universal.  Fourth place is also occupied by a new entry with animated adventure Ferdinand taking £3,644,748.

All this means Paddington 2 falls from number two to number five.  It’s a Wonderful Life appeared in 127 cinemas and makes it into the top 10 in eighth position.
