Just one new entry on this week’s film chart, The Greatest Showman enters at three with cinema takings of £4,754,049 which is rather good and will no doubt please 20th Century Fox.

There is no change at the top with Star Wars: The Last Jedi continuing to dominate and now has gross to date figures of £68,263,774.  Meanwhile Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle remains in second place and is still doing very good business for Sony Pictures.

Elsewhere on the chart Murder on the Orient Express returns to the top 10 following the end of Christmas and the end of the classic film Its A Wonderful Life’s festive run.
