There are two new entries inside this week’s top 10 box office films, plus a change at the top. Last week’s number one Darkest Hour slips to number three. Which film has replaced it at the top of the charts? The Greatest Showman moves from four to this week’s number one with cinema takings of £2,201,523.
Animated film Coco remains in second place but what of the week’s new entries? The highest new entry Den of Thieves enters at number six with box office takings of £1,082,560.
Meanwhile Phantom Thread makes it to number ten but the surprise of the week is that the Helen Mirren horror Winchester fails to make the top 10 instead entering at number twelve taking just £373,550. That certainly won’t please distributor Lionsgate.
