UK Cinema Charts February 23 2018

It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at the box office films this week and find out which movies are hot.  Will the Baftas Awards affect the chart this week or next?  Will Black Panther stay in top spot?  Let’s find out, these are the figures for UK Cinema Charts February 23 2018.

There are three new entries making the UK top 10 but none of them are able to challenge Marvel’s Black Panther which remains at number one with box office takings of £6,859,230.

The week’s highest new entry is the comedy drama film Lady Bird which enters the UK chart at number three taking a respectable £1,233,508.  The Margot Robbie movie I, Tonya enters in at number five, whilst fellow new entry Finding Your Feet lands at six.

The Greatest Showman climbs from four to two whilst its finally time to say goodbye to Gary Oldman as Darkest Hour drops out of the top 10 falling to number eleven with takings of £362,413 and gross to date figures of £22,802,905.
