There are three new entries making the UK top 10 but none of them are able to challenge Marvel’s Black Panther which remains at number one for another week with box office takings of £3,736,954.
That means this week’s highest new entry is the Jennifer Lawrence thriller Red Sparrow which lands in second place with cinema takings of £1,843,124. The Warner Bros comedy, Game Night is another new entry managing fourth place with box office figures of just over £1 million which is pretty decent business.
Best picture winner at the Oscars 2018, The Shape of Water fails to keep audiences interested dropping from seven last week to ten this week.
However the film that sees the biggest drop this week is Fifty Shades Freed which drops from 4 last week to outside of the top 10 at 13. To put that into context it took £1,190,524 last week against £346,818 over the weekend.
