The UK has a brand new number film at cinemas this week, yes Paddington 2 storms the charts taking a very impressive £8,260,160. That probably comes as no surprise seeing how well the first film did featuring the friendly and funny Paddington Bear.
That means last week’s number one Murder on the Orient Express slips to number two still taking £4,376,429 and holding off Thor: Ragnarok which slips down to three with cinema revenue of £3,073,349.
All this means that Studiocanal the studio behind Paddington 2 will be extremely happy and are probably already considering a third film.
Other new entries on the film chart this week include Only the Brave and The Florida Project entering in seven and eight respectively.
Elsewhere on the chart Blade Runner 2049 slips to number nine whilst The LEGO Ninjago Movie drops to ten.
