No change at the top of the UK cinema charts with Stephen King’s It holding firm with impressive box office takings of £6,070,542. Second, third and fourth places are all filled by new entries with Victoria and Abdul, mother! and American Assassin respectively.
In fact Victoria and Abdul starring Judi Dench took a pretty amazing £1,846,970, compare that to the new Jennifer Lawrence film mother!’s £831,676
Dunkirk finally seems to be bidding farewell to the charts dropping from number three last week to eight this week and takings of £336,547. That said it has incredible gross to date figures of £55,758,074 which should please Warner Bros.
Another couple films appearing to be on the way out are Despicable Me 3 and Wind River, the latter only being on the chart for just two weeks.
