The Mummy fails to take the top spot coming only second with disappointing cinema takings of $31,668,375. Compare that to Wonder Woman’s second week takings of $58,520,672 that ensures top spot is maintained.
The reviews of The Mummy have been pretty poor with a lack of chemistry between Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis proving to be just one of the films many problems.
It Comes at Night is another new entry this week at number six, $5,988,370. The other newcomer this week is Megan Leavey entering in eighth position $3,810,867.
