Another week at number one for Beauty and the Beast taking an ridiculous $90,426,717 for it’s second week at cinemas. Power Rangers hits the chart in second spot with a decent $40,300,288 however CHiPs bombs badly taking just $7,722,802.
The fact that CHiPs performed so badly in America its main target market doesn’t bode well for its release around the rest of the world. The UK figures are not in yet but if it makes the top 10 that should be regarded as success.
