Guardians of the Galaxy loses top spot to Alien: Covenant but only just with the former taking $34,653,754 against Alien’s first week takings of $36,160,621. Elsewhere Everything, Everything comes in at three taking $11,727,390, whist the other new entry Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul enters the cinema chart at six taking $7,126,084.
Another good week for 20th Century Fox as they have a total of four movies making the cinema top ten chart.
