US Cinema Charts January 19 2018 – 12 Strong Enters At Number Two

There are three new entries inside this week’s top 10 box office movies, 12 Strong enters at two with takings of $15,815,025 with fellow new entry Den of Thieves hot on its heels in third place taking $15,206,108. The other new movie, Forever My Girl lands in tenth position.

That all means Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle remains at number one with box office takings of $19,505,170 and gross to date figures after five weeks on release of $316,450,318 which must keep Sony Pictures very happy.

Last week’s number three, The Commuter starring Liam Neeson takes a turn in the wrong direction falling to seven. Horror movie Insidious: The Last Key drops from five to nine while Star Wars Ep. VIII: The Last Jedi drops to number eight.
