It’s time to take a look at this week’s US top 10 box office movies, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War loses the number one spot to another superhero movie. There were three new releases out over the weekend so let’s take a look at where they entered. These are the figures for US Cinema Charts May 18 2018.

Deadpool 2 enters the chart at number one with box office takings of a massive $125,507,153 that should put a smile on those studio executives at 20th Century Fox. That means Avengers: Infinity War drops to number two with takings $29,452,903 and gross to date figures of $595.8m.
At three is another new entry with Book Club from Paramount Pictures, this one took over $13.5m. The last of the new movies lands at number six and is of course Show Dogs.
Comedy Super Troopers 2 climbs from 14 to 10 whilst it’s finally time to say goodbye to the Amy Schumer comedy I Feel Pretty which falls out of the top ten dropping to eleven.
