US Cinema Charts May 4 2018

It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at the latest top 10 box office movies and find out which movies are hot.  There was no real surprise as last week’s number one Avengers: Infinity War remains at the top of the charts.  However there were three new releases out over the weekend so let’s take a look at where they entered.  These are the figures for US Cinema Charts May 4 2018.

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War took $114,774,810 at the box office meaning that it’s taken $453,107,350 to date in the US alone.  This week’s highest new entry is the remake of Overboard, it enters at number two with takings of over $14,7m.  Tully starring Charlize Theron manages to land at number six taking $3,282,610 whilst David Tennant’s thriller Bad Samaritan just about makes the top 10 movies chart coming in at ten.
