It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at what movies are hot at the US cinema, these figures are for US cinema charts November 10 2017.
|1||(1)||Thor: Ragnarok||Walt Disney||$57,078,306|
|2||New||Daddy’s Home 2||Paramount Pictures||$29,651,193|
|3||New||Murder on the Orient Express||20th Century Fox||$28,681,472|
|4||(2)||A Bad Moms Christmas||STX Entertainment||$11,468,964|
|6||(4)||Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween||Lionsgate||$2,001,108|
|8||(7)||Blade Runner 2049||Warner Bros||$1,460,463|
|9||(6)||Happy Death Day||Universal||$1,266,440|
No change at the very top of the US movie charts this week with Thor: Ragnarok’s cinema earnings way ahead of new entry Daddy’s Home 2 with $57,078,306 against $29,651,193 respectively. That should keep Disney pretty happy. There is also a new entry at three in the chart with Murder on the Orient Express and it’s not far behind in cinema takings, $28,681,472 from the comedy at two (relatively speaking).
Elsewhere in the top 10 movie charts not much really changes other than Lady Bird which rise up from number twenty four last week to number ten this week, presumably after having a limited initial release followed by a wide release.
