It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at what movies are hot at the US cinema, these figures are for US cinema charts November 3 2017.
|1||New||Thor: Ragnarok||Walt Disney||$122,744,989|
|2||New||A Bad Moms Christmas||STX Entertainment||$16,759,161|
|4||(2)||Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween||Lionsgate||$4,541,190|
|6||(4)||Happy Death Day||Universal||$2,699,715|
|7||(5)||Blade Runner 2049||Warner Bros||$2,321,372|
|8||(6)||Thank You for Your Service||Universal||$2,207,855|
|9||(7)||Only the Brave||Sony Pictures||$1,920,075|
|10||(11)||Let There Be Light||Atlas Distribution||$1,697,448|
No real surprise as Thor: Ragnarok smashes the competition away with massive cinema takings of $122,744,989 taking it straight in at number one. Jigsaw falls down to number three as another new entry on the chart, A Bad Moms Christmas takes second spot. Still Disney must be really pleased with Thor’s first week box office performance.
Looking at the rest of the chart sees the rest shift down by two places for the most part, although Let There Be Light moves up from number eleven last week to ten this week.
