For some unknown reason audiences in the US have stayed away from Blade Runner 2049 meaning its stay at the top of the US cinema charts only lasts one week.  The sci-fi movie drops to number two with takings of only $15,492,244 which won’t please Warner Bros.  That means that new entry Happy Death Day is this week’s number one taking $26,039,025.

There was one other new entry this week The Foreigner which lands at number three taking $13,113,024.  Stephen King’s IT is at four taking $6,055,633.  Cinema takings rank from $26 million at the top to just over $3 million at the bottom which is not all that impressive depite several big movies still in the top 10.
