It’s that time of the week when we take a quick look at what movies are hot at the US cinema, these figures are for US cinema charts September 29 2017.
US Cinema Charts September 29 2017
|1||(1)||Kingsman: The Golden Circle||20th Century Fox||$16,935,565|
|4||(3)||The Lego Ninjago Movie||Warner Bros||$11,644,237|
|6||(16)||Battle of the Sexes||Fox Searchlight||$3,417,342|
|8||(6)||Home Again||Open Road||$1,726,563|
|9||New||Til Death Do Us Part||Novus Content||$1,527,289|
The top three movies in this week’s cinema chart have never been as close in terms of revenue taken. Tom Cruise’s American Made fails to claim top spot only managing a rather disappointing third place with takings of only $16,776,390. That means Kingsman: The Golden Circle stays top with Stephen King’s IT in second with box office figures of $16,935,565 & $16,902,442 respectively.
You may well be wondering where the remake of Flatliners is, well it enters in fifth position on the chart with pretty awful cinema takings of only $6,574,326. I guess there’s no reviving this one! One other new entry to mention, Til Death Do Us Part comes in a number nine.
