Is there a new number one on the US Top Movie charts? Well it’s time we check in at the US box office and find out. There are three new entries including a brand new movie at the top. Crazy Rich Asians takes it with movie theatre revenue of $26.5m no doubt pleasing Warner Bros. That new number one film means last week’s top placed movie The Meg starring Jason Statham slips to number two taking $21.1m. Mile 22 enters at three managing $13.7m whilst Alpha takes the number five slot managing just $10.3m.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout slips from two to four whilst Christopher Robin tumbles from three to six but has now taken over $66 million.
Movies leaving the top 10 include Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer 2, superhero flick Ant-Man and the Wasp and comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me.
