It’s that time of the week when we cast our eye over the movie charts and there are two new entries inside this week’s top 10. Does that mean we have a new number one? Well yes it does and its yet another superhero movie. Isn’t everyone getting a little tired of these type of films releasing every couple of months?
In any case Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom seems to have been stung falling one place to number two meaning that Disney’s Ant-Man and the Wasp takes over at the top. It managed box office earning of $75.8m which seems a little low for one of these kind of movies. Incredibles 2 slips to three whilst Universal Picture’s horror The First Purge enters at four managing takings of $17.3m. Meanwhile Sicario: Day of the Soldado drops from three to five. Two new movies that failed to break into the top ten are Whitney which lands at twelve and Sorry to Bother You at sixteen.
