It’s time to take a look at this week’s US top 10 box office movies, there are three new entries. Could anything knock Solo: A Star Wars Story from the number one spot? Let’s find out these are the figures for US Movie Charts June 1 2018.

The answer to that last question is no, Solo continues at number one for a second week with box office takings of $29,396,882 and gross to date figures of $148,989,574. For most films would be exceptional but for a Star Wars film must be extremely disappointing for Disney.
Deadpool 2 remains at two with takings of $23,178,597 making massive box office revenue so far of $254.5m which will no doubt put a smile on those studio executives at 20th Century Fox. So what of the other big blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War? That one drops to number four taking a further $10.5m which means its gross to date figures are a mere $643m.
But wait what about those three new entries? Adrift is the highest new entry landing at three, Upgrade enters at six whilst Action Point takes the number nine position.
