Speaking of which The Predator slips to number four with box office takings of just $9.1m from 4,070 movie theaters. Making things even worse is the fact that it’s the film in the most theaters out of all of the top ten titles.

Elsewhere thriller, A Simple Favor starring Anna Kendrick & Blake Lively climbs one place to two taking $10.2m whilst horror movie The Nun is at three with $9.96m. Warner Bros out of interest has three titles inside the top 10 whilst Sony Pictures has two, White Boy Rick & Searching.

Political documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 by Michael Moore enters the movie charts at eight managing $3m. One new entry failing to break into the top ten list is Amazon Studios drama Life Itself which has to settle for number eleven.
