Movie News: US Movie Charts September 7 2018

It’s time for a change at the top of the charts and that means Crazy Rich Asians drops to three. But with two new entries inside this week’s top 10 which film took the coveted number one, horror movie The Nun or action film Peppermint? Warner Bros horror movie The Nun is America’s most popular film entering at number one with box office takings of $53.8m. Action film Peppermint starring Jennifer Garner is a new entry at two managing $13.4m. Last week’s number one Crazy Rich Asians took $13.1m whilst The Happytime Murders exits the top 10 falling from 8 to 15. Mission Impossible – Fallout continues to keep audience entertained taking just under $3.9m.

God Bless the Broken Road was the one other new entry this week but failed to break into the top ten landing at eleven.
