It’s time to take a look at all of the main new Blu-ray releases out in November 2017 from both film and television. There are plenty of classic films along with many recent film offerings to consider. So let’s get start with our look at the American November 2017 Blu-ray releases.
November 2017 Blu-ray Releases
Starting with off with new releases out this week and Kino Classics have several films now available including I’ll Be Seeing You (1944) starring Ginger Rogers & Joseph Cotten. Next up is Hangover Square (1945) and Driftwood (1947).
The Criterion Collection have the Terry Gilliam directed film Jabberwocky (1977) that just happenss to star a certain Michael Palin. Warner Bros released Stephen King’s Dolores Claiborne (1995).
Switching to Lionsgate and they have three new releases this week, The Hitman’s Bodyguard (2017) starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, sci-fi adventure in the ridiculously long titled Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets (2017) and children’s movie Leap!
Elsewhere Walt Disney have a couple of Marvel boxsets and Gravitas Ventures have two films with Christmas in the title but other than that I know nothing about. They are A Christmas in New York (2016) and Christmas in the Heartland (2017).
Television Series
The highlight has to be sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf XII which has just concluded airing in the UK at least last week. Another TV release this week stars Gillian Anderson of X-Files fame in The Fall: Series 3.
Next Weeks Releases – November 2017 Blu-ray Releases
There’s not a whole lot out next week but highlights include the Michael J. Fox comedy romance Doc Hollywood (1991), Stephen King’s Misery (1990), The Woman in Red (1984) starring Gene Wilder and finally Logan Lucky (2017).
Already Released – November 2017 Blu-ray Releases
Now to a few of the release highlights that came out earlier in the month. First up has to be family film Cars 3 (2017), whilst Warner Bros put out a 30 movie DC Universe 10th Anniversary Collection. Now to a truly classic film starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart The Philadelphia Story (1940).
If Spaghetti Westerns are you thing maybe Death Rides a Horse (1967) will be what you are looking for. Want something a little more recent how about horror movie The Limehouse Golem (2017).
On to television and already out this month are The Crown Season 1, Westworld: The Complete First Season and Doctor Who: Complete Series 10
