Mediumrare has several interesting releases coming to both Blu-ray and DVD this October 2023 for the UK. The one I’m interested in has to be John Carpenter Presents, Vampires Los Muertos (2002) which stars Jon Bon Jovi.
Now I should make this clear, this is the sequel to the 1998 film and is not written or directed by John Carpenter but he is listed as a producer. The film is actually written / directed by Tommy Lee Wallace.
Another of their new releases is Steel Magnolias (1989) starring Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts.
There’s also comedy, City Slickers II (1994) with Billy Crystal, Inside (2023) a thriller starring Willem Dafoe, spy comedy, Our Man In Havana (1959) with Alec Guinness and The Horsemen (1971) starring Omar Sharif.
Next up is horror film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Next Generation (1995) starring Renée Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey.
Other releases include Sheena (1984), an action fantasy film starring Tanya Roberts
Update: Mediumrare has pushed back the release dates of several of these titles to later in October. I’ve added the new dates under each film.
All of these are releasing in October on both Blu-ray and DVD, unfortunately Mediumrare don’t provide much information on their upcoming releases, such aspect ratio, audio or special features.

Mediumrare do have a couple of other films listed for October but these don’t have any artwork. I wouldn’t be too surprised if they are rescheduled for a later date. Those titles are The Admirable Crichton (1957) and Nicholas And Alexandra (1971).
